I would LOVE to trade recipes, but the only place I can do it is online.
As a busy 50-ish executive woman whose kids are long since grown and gone, cooking-from-scratch at least 4 days a week is both my recreation and my mental-health therapy. But none of my in-person friends even bother ("Why cook when there's take-out right around the corner?" -- or, worse, "Why cook when I pay a housekeeper to do that?")
ANY suggestions on meeting truly compatible others would be warmly welcomed! Just please don't tell me to hang out with the diapers, Lemon Pledge, and church-every-Sunday crowd who have no independent intellectual life to which I can relate.
