Police: Man dropped drugs in bank deposit
Tallahassee police said Wachovia Bank employees called authorities about 4:30 p.m. June 24 to report a man in a white sport utility vehicle in the bank's drive-through lanes had sent a canister containing $200, a deposit slip and two plastic bags -- one containing marijuana and one containing white powder -- the Tallahassee Democrat reported.
Police pulled over Cameron Jefferson, 38, and allegedly found the remnants of three marijuana cigarettes in his vehicle. He was charged with possession of cocaine and less than 20 grams of marijuana.
"If you said I did it, then I did it," a police report quotes Jefferson as telling police.
He was released from the Leon County jail after posting $3,000 bail.
