JERUSALEM (UPI) -- A fast-moving train ran over an Israeli woman
apparently bent on suicide, but after it rumbled past she simply stood
up and walked away, dramatic video shows.
The CCTV footage shows the woman deliberately walking to the tracks in
northern Israel Sunday and lying down between the rails with her feet
pointing in the train's direction. Moments later, 15 cars of the train
rush over her and then she gets up and leaves.
The Sun newspaper reported the 56-year-old woman from Kiryat Ono in
Tel Aviv sustained only a minor head wound. The British tabloid said
police later detained the woman and learned she had wanted to kill
herself because she had lost her job.
CCTV reported she was to receive a psychiatric examination.
