Clumsy elephant's fence escape runs into complications

CHIANG MAI, Thailand (UPI) -- A tourist visiting Thailand captured video of a young elephant's daring escape from a pen by rolling through the horizontal slats of a wooden fence.
Danielle Carr, a Florida resident visiting Thailand, posted a video to Facebook Jan. 3 showing the small elephant climbing sideways through the middle of the fence.
"Oh my god, he's escaping!" Carr says in the video.
The baby elephant is almost on the outside of the fence when it trips sideways, landing on its back.
"A video of me trying to roll out of bed for my 8am classes," Carr joked in the Facebook post.
