Geneticist calls BNP views racist
Stephen Oppenheimer, a professor at Oxford University, told The Times of London he watched Nick Griffin on the BBC's "Question Time" because he feared the British National Party leader would misuse his work.
"After the program, I went back to look at what I'd written. I wrote quite a bit about issues of racism," he said. "I feared some people like Griffin would probably hijack this. I assumed that fascists would cherry-pick different bits from my book to support their views."
In "The Origins of the British," published in 2006, Oppenheimer argued residents of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales got the majority of their genetic inheritance from people who moved to the islands at the end of the Ice Age, and that subsequent invasions by Celts, Romans, Anglo-Saxons and later migrants added comparatively little.
Griffin argued Thursday on "Question Time" that Britons are the aboriginal inhabitants of the islands.
Several hundred protesters greeted Griffin when he arrived at the television studio.

I don`t really think he`s racist, especially after browsing his website a few times. It seems to be a crime in these multiculturist/political correctness times to be patriotic and keen to save our Britishness,why?
Because of this over many years now we have felt very downtrodden and marginalised as much has been done to put us at the bottom of the pile.
It seems our way of life is being eroded all the time and we have no rights in protecting anything anymore. Now we have such large populations of muslims in various parts of the UK who refuse to assimilate into our way of life, instead they try
to get us to take on their backward ideology which must be opposed at all costs for our survival. Please read Brigitte Gabriel`s book "Because They Hate" and also books by Walid Shoebat on the danger of Islam.
The BNP seems to be the only party that has realized the danger!
