When are we most likely to eat out?

According to a survey, the most popular day for eating out in the United States is one's own birthday — 49 percent of American adults do. The worst holiday for eating out is Grandparents' Day, with less than 5 percent participating.

I must take exception to the answer that we are most like to eat out on our birthdays. I would like to eat out on my birthday, February 14, Valentine's Day. However, it is impossible for me to find a restaurant that does not have at least a 60 minute waiting line. So, I don't get to eat out on my birthday because everyone else is eating out on that day.
