Votes for women.
We are still celebrating the honour. I even mamed my Bichon freise dog Victoria because she was born when we celebrated the 100th anniversary in 1993. Writing from Wellington New Zealand.
I believe though that some States, possibly Texas gave women the right to vote before we did, but we were the first country. Women travelled all over the country getting signatures to send to parliament demanding the vote.It had been refused before. In many places there were no roads so they went by ship from one settlement to
another. A great story to read.
