Elephant speak
Of course you can hear elephants talk. You hear them all of the time if you were at zoos in Africa or watched nature programs on TV. There's trumpeting, bugling, growls and grumbles. However, there are some sounds they make that are to low for humans to here. In fact when an elephant is in distress, it sends out sounds in frequencies as low as 8 of 10 HZ. These deep sound travel out through the ground from the bottoms of their feet. It can travel a mile or more and other elephants will detect this sound vibration through the soles of their feet and go to the other elephant's aid.
