I read somewhere that salmon is full of salmonella and I could never eat it especially the tinned variety or tuna without getting bowel problems. The local fishmonger in the market said a lot of fish was contaminated with worms and fall out and my cat started to refuse mackerel and gave up on tinned pilchards. I am now a happy vegetarian.
