How about telling parents to get some backbone and just say NO to their children on junk fast food or between meal snacks & desserts. Take their computer games and televisons away and say go out and play. Is that to simple a solution.

of dealing with most problems...it's cheaper and more reliable than waiting for a problem to become dangerous...look where we are because of reluctance to prevent damage to the environment.
