COL BKB: Kansas 112, Tennessee Tech 75

LAWRENCE, Kan. (UPI) -- Tyshawn Taylor paced Kansas with 18 points Friday and the No. 1 Jayhawks shot 60 percent from the field in crushing Tennessee Tech 112-75.

Kansas scored the final 11 points of the first half to take a 55-31 lead and had no trouble pulling away in the first basketball game between the schools.

Xavier Henry added 15 points and Cole Aldridge had 14 for Kansas, which won for the fifth time in as many games this season.

Kansas has won 45 consecutive contests at home.

Tennessee Tech (3-4) was led by Frank Davis with 23 points. The Jayhawks made 14-of-25 attempts from 3-point range.
