NHL: Anaheim 3, Chicago 0

ANAHEIM, Calif. (UPI) -- Jean-Sebastien Giguere's first shutout this season Friday paved the way for the Anaheim Ducks 3-0 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Anaheim's Teemu Selanne scored power play goals in the first and second periods, and Nick Boynton scored on the power play at 10:26 of the second.

Giguere stopped the 10 shots he faced in the third period to preserve the shutout against the red-hot Blackhawks.

Net-minder Cristobal Huet was beaten three times on 34 shots for the Blackhawks, whose season-long eight- game winning streak ended.

On the power play, Anaheim went 3-for-5, and Chicago went 0-for-4.
