NHL: Chicago 1, Vancouver 0

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (UPI) -- Antti Niemi made 30 saves and Bryan Bickell scored a third-period goal Sunday in the Chicago Blackhawks' seventh-straight win, a 1-0 victory over Vancouver.

Niemi stopped 11 shots in the third to post his second career shutout. His first shutout came Oct. 3 at Florida.

Roberto Luongo finished with 16 saves for the Canucks, who had won two straight coming into the contest.

Bickell's goal at 1:12 of the third was his first since April 2007.
