NHL: Phoenix 3, Philadelphia 1

GLENDALE, Ariz. (UPI) -- Ilya Bryzgalov stopped all but one of Philadelphia's 24 shots Saturday to lead the Phoenix Coyotes past the Flyers 3-1.

Matthew Lombardi had a goal and an assist for the Coyotes and Keith Yandle and Shane Doan scored the other Phoenix goals.

Scott Hartnell scored Philadelphia's lone goal and Ray Emery allowed a pair of goals on 20 shots.

After trading goals in the second period, Phoenix added a pair in the final period for the winning margin.

Yandle's power-play goal with 9:41 to play broke the tie. Scoring play began with a controversial move by Coyote's defenseman Adrian Aucoin. Aucoin lost control of the puck at the right point and allowed it to slither past the blue line for a moment before he pulled it back into the zone.

No offsides was called and Aucoin passed to Lombardi, who relayed it to Yandle for the goal.
