WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Ben Gordon notched 29 points for the Detroit Pistons Saturday in their 106-103 road win over the Washington Wizards.

Gordon, who hit five of eight from 3-point range, nailed a go-ahead jump shot with less than two minutes to play after the Wizards were called for holding the ball while trying to inbound after Brendan Haywood sank two from the line to cut Detroit's lead to 101-100.

Will Bynum added 20 points and eight rebounds for the Pistons and Rodney Stuckey scored 17.

Mike Miller and Earl Boykins each scored 20 points to lead the Wizards. Gilbert Arena added 19.

Washington got its offense into gear after falling behind by as many as 13 in the first quarter. The Wizards took a 64-63 lead in the third quarter on a 10-2 run and led 80-78 going into the final quarter.

Boykins gave Washington a 95-80 lead with 5:04 to play, but Detroit ran off a 10-1 run and won it in the home stretch.
