COL BKB: Purdue 63, Northwestern 61

EVANSTON, Ill. (UPI) -- Nineteenth-ranked Purdue, led by Robbie Hummel, rallied from a 10-point deficit with under 7 minutes to play Thursday and edged Northwestern 63-61.

Hummel, who finished with 15 points, hit a jump shot, a free throw and a 3-pointer during a surge that sent the Boilermakers on their way to victory.

Julian Johnson, who also hit shots in the late run, had 13 points and Chris Kramer added 12 for Purdue (13-4, 2-2 Big Ten).

Craig Moore and Kevin Coble scored 16 points each for the Wildcats (8-6, 0-4), who have lost four straight games.
