CHICAGO (UPI) -- Chicago's Dewayne Wise hit a two-run double in a rally that helped the White Sox down Tampa Bay 5-3 Sunday and stay alive in their playoff series.

The Rays, champions of the American League East, lead the best-of-five series two games to one. Game 4 is scheduled for Monday in Chicago.

Wise's hit came during a three-run fourth.

A.J. Pierzynski had two hits and knocked in a run for the Sox, who won the AL Central.

John Danks (1-0) worked 6 2/3 innings and got the win. Danks allowed three runs and seven hits, striking out seven batters.

Matt Garza (0-1) took the loss, giving up all five Chicago runs, along with seven hits, over six innings.

B.J. Upton hit a two-run homer for Tampa Bay.
