COL FB: Illinois 47, East Illinois 21

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (UPI) -- Juice Williams ran for a school-record 174 yards and passed for 124 more Saturday, fueling 25th-ranked Illinois' 47-21 victory over Eastern Illinois.

Williams scored two touchdowns and passed for another for the Illini (1-1). Daniel Dufrene ran for 99 yards, Mikel Leshoure ran for 49 and wide receiver Arrelious Benn scored twice with 48 yards rushing.

Illinois had 399 yards rushing and 533 total yards.

Travorus Bess rushed for a 183 yards and quarterback Bodie Reeder was 7-for-17 for 102 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for the Panthers (0-2).
