Bryans win men's U.S. Open doubles
The veteran American duo won the match by scores of 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (12-10).
With their latest victory, their sixth Grand Slam doubles championship, the twins, natives of Camarillo, Calif., return to the top of the world doubles' rankings.
"It was just a few points," Mike Bryan told The New York Times about the difference in the match.
"This feels as good as any of them," Bob Bryan added.
They last won the Open in 2005. The 2008 title was worth $420,000 apiece.
The Dlouhy-Paes duo splits $210,000.
Paes, from India, captured the mixed doubles title with Zimbabwe's Cara Black this week.
