Penn State suspends three players
Penn State police said they seized a small amount of marijuana Tuesday night from an on-campus apartment shared by the four players.
Defensive end Maurice Evans, tight end Andrew Quarless and defensive tackle Abe Koroma won't play Saturday when the 19th-ranked Nittany Lions face Oregon State at University Park.
No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing, Penn State University police Lt. Bill Moerschbacher wrote via e-mail to ESPN.com.
Penn State Coach Joe Paterno said during his weekly radio call-in show Thursday that a fourth player, reserve cornerback Willie Harriott, has been dismissed.
The Centre Daily newspaper reported that Paterno said Harriott "got himself in a jam and won't be on the team" but didn't elaborate.
