Tribesman led throughout and won Saturday's $75,000 California State Fair Sprint Handicap by 4 1/2 lengths. Jack Hes Tops was second and Victory Kid completed the trifecta. Tribesman, a Cal-bred son of Tribal Rule, ran the 6 furlongs in 1:07.61 under Russell Baze.
