$2 million Emirates Airline Filly & Mare Turf
Brownie Points stalked the pace in Monday's $150,000 Edward J. Debartolo Memorial at Remington Park, then got by Tricky Causeway in the late going to win by 1/2 length. Brego finished third. Brownie Points, a 5-year-old, Kentucky-bred mare by Forest Wildcat, ran the 9 furlongs on firm turf in 1:50.37 under Luis Quinonez. Donnie Von Hemel trains the mare for Pin Oak Stable.
Hostess surged to the front a furlong from home in Monday's $100,000 Glens Falls Handicap at Saratoga and ran on to win by a neck over Palmilla. Jade Queen was third. Hostess, a 5-year-old Chester House mare, ran the 1 3/8 miles on firm turf in 2:11.66. Rajiv Maragh rode for trainer H. James Bond.
