Maple Leafs sign 3 for $26.7 million
The priciest acquisition was Jeff Finger, a defenseman from the Colorado Avalanche, who got a four-year, $14 million deal, the Toronto Star reported.
Next was left winger Niklas (Larry) Hagman, who scored a career-high 27 goals with the Dallas Stars. He signed four-year, $12 million deal, the report said.
The third acquisition was backup goalie Curtis Joseph, who posted 17 shutouts for the Maple Leafs in 249 regular season games between 1998 and 2002.
The 41-year-old had no job at the beginning the last season, but signed on with the Calgary Flames halfway through the season. He signed a one-year contract with the Leafs for $700,000, team officials said.
