8-11 p.m. EST --U.S. skier Mikaela Shiffrin makes her Olympic debut, competing in the women's giant slalom. It's a busy slate with women's bobsled, men's halfpipe skiing and the controlled chaos of the heavy short-track relay.
1-2 a.m. EST -- Men's and women's short-track action is on tap.
3-5 p.m. EST --The day begins with cross-country team sprints. Speedskating continues with the women's 5,000.
8-11 p.m. EST --Figure skating takes center stage. 2010 Olympic silver medalist Mao Asada and 2010 Olympic champion Yuna Kim are expected to contend for the gold medal. Also on tap: men's giant slalom and women's bobsled.
