BROOKLYN, Mich. -- Jeff Gordon completed a weekend of dominance at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, winning the Pure Michigan 400 by 1.4 seconds over Kevin Harvick.
It was the third victory of the season for Gordon, who was also on the pole for Sunday's race.
Harvick finished second, followed in the top five by Joey Logano, Paul Menard and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
It is the 91st career victory for Gordon, who has also won this season at Indianapolis and Kansas.
"It wasn't easy, it's never easy to win, especially when aerodynamics and track position means so much," said Gordon, who took the lead on the race's final restart and never gave it up. "We had the car to win, but who ever got in front on that last restart was going to win."
