Robert Whitley Wine Tasting
Journalist and reviewer Robert Whitley began collecting wine in the 1970s, and turned his hobby into the basis of his column for the San Diego Union-Tribune in 1990. Now, he write the Creators Syndicate's "Wine Talk" column, in addition to publishing the acclaimed WineReviewOnline.com Web site. His previous work includes writing for Newsday, the Washington Post, Washington Daily News, and many more.
Besides his work as a columnist, Whitley is also a judge at wine fairs and competitions around the world. He himself is the director of Critics Challenge, the San Diego International, and the Monterey Wine Competition. In addition, he hosts the weekly radio shows "Whitley on Wine" and "The Gourmet Club."
