Dobson says Obama 'distorts Bible'
Dobson, who claims a following of hundreds of thousands through his "Focus on the Family" syndicated radio program, blasted Sen. Obama, D-Ill., on the show aired Tuesday.
In a speech, Obama is heard saying, "Whatever we once were, we are no longer just a Christian nation; we are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation and a nation of non-believers."
He then adds: "And even if we did have only Christians in our midst, if we expelled every non-Christian from the United States of America, whose Christianity would we teach in the schools? Would we go with James Dobson's or Al Sharpton's?"
"Obviously, that is offensive to me," Dobson said. "Who wants to expel people who are not Christians? I've never said anything near that."
Dobson also said Obama is "deliberately distorting" Biblical teachings to "fit his world view."
Obama spokesman Joshua DuBois told The Washington Post that a full reading of the speech shows he is committed to reaching out to people of faith and standing up for families.

#1 My head is 'on straight'-- however, it's NOT the 'head' that's critical--- it's the HEART!!! You should have learned that, from whatever version of the bible you're familiar with.
#2 NO, I'm member of the "body of Christ' mentioned in the Greek NT, and other Bibles. Maybe you should 'check into it'.
#3 And there are many passages in the Bible that refute many of your assertions.
#4 Those you claim "don't the mold of the Bible" are BELOVED of God! He isn't 'finished' with the Jews; Jesus' mother was a Jew, Paul says we who are children of Abraham by faith are 'true Jews'--
#5 We're still praying for you.

The Bible under fire?
Our for fathers set up this nation under God, Indivisibly, with liberty and justice for all and un-devided we stand . We have an awesome constitution set up and no other country has it. God and the bible was lifted high by those for fathers they fought for this freedom and the 10 commandments was in the court houses. In God we trust, and God bless America!

By the way, geemenee, the ones you mentioned that I don't like don't "fit the mold" of the Bible, either.

geemenee. there are many passages in the Bible that refute many of Dobson's assertations, and when you get your head on straight and see through many of Dobson's deceptions you'll see what I mean. You apparently are a member of one of the apostate Judeo-Christian? churches. The teaching of these churches is a big reason we are in the mess that we're in. I am not defending Obomanation, either.
