Most in U.S. believe in God or 'spirit'
Most religious Americans said they believe there is more than one path to salvation, and more than one divine destination, the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life survey showed. The study also indicated most believers do not claim to have the sole route to salvation.
A majority in only two religions believe their faith is the single path to salvation. Mormons at 57 percent and Jehovah's Witnesses at 80 percent say their religion is the only path to God.
Of all the faith groups surveyed, the study found that Muslims were among the most devout, with 82 percent saying they pray at least weekly, and 86 percent view the Koran as the word of God.
Researchers also found that about one in four evangelicals, and less than one-tenth of Catholics, said their religious beliefs strongly influence their political opinions.
The survey results are based on information about the religious practices of more than 35,000 U.S. adults.

The majority of "religious" people are both amusing and very, very sad.
It's interesting to point out verses in the Bible that would cause an absolute uproar if the government tried to enforce them (you know, like they do when the reach for the Bible every time they need a fail-safe excuse) and watch all the prejudiced people who call themselves religious avoid the question, then turn right around and use the Bible for their own gain.
If only the results of the survey were completely accurate, there would be much less pain in the world. I've yet to meet someone who calls themselves devoutly religious and at the same time claim to believe that there's more than one path.

There is only one way to God, Jesus said in
Jn:14-6 "I am the way,the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.So If they are on another path they are on the path to hell. It matters not what faith you follow. I bet satan was glad to read that survey, it tells me that the preachers aren't doing the work they were called to do, and they will be judged worse then the sheep they led down the other path.
