Democrats: McCain can't fix America

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Democrats say Republican Sen. John McCain accepted his party's U.S. presidential nomination without saying what he'd do to solve America's problems.

"I heard nothing that suggests the Republicans are ready to fix the economy for middle-class families," Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., said in a statement after McCain's speech Thursday night.

Clinton, who lost the Democratic nomination to Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and threw her support to him, said her general election campaign cry now is "No way, no how, no McCain-Palin."

Electing McCain and his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, would mean four more years of the Republican politics that have dragged down American, said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton.

The Democrats have made trying to link U.S. President George Bush and McCain the central part of their argument against the Republican candidate. Democratic Party fundraising messages issued after McCain's speech focused on that.

McCain "talked about bipartisanship but didn't mention that he's been a Bush partisan 90 percent of the time," Burton told CNN.

Enough already! Stop printing what you have to say more than once on a blog. And stop belittling others with your arrogant attitude ie: the following example of your sick prose:

"But then since so many of you are products of a failed educational system, we can't really blame you for thinking that everything is the President's fault."

Pray tell just WHO made you the judge?

"It is interesting to see so many liberals boringly repeat the democratic talking points."

And where do you get your talking points?????

"Declaring so loudy, their utter ignorance of this fact and their blinding stupidity at not realizing they are simply putting their other foot in their mouth when they repeat them yet again."

You mean like you do when you keep saying the same old things, in the same old way, and printing it anywhere from 2 to 4 times on this blog?

Have you, Ken, ever heard of modeling behavior? You ARE, in fact, modeling the very behavior you accuse Democrats of modeling.

ENOUGH!

But then in America one is free to speak their mind, even when doing so proudly states they are loosing it.

Tax the rich, tax the oil companies, tax the corporations...

Get real, do yo think they will pay those taxes and not simply pass them on to us in the form of higher taxes?

The consumer in america is the only REAL taxpayer in this country.

What, you think the oil companies pay their taxes out of their profits? All those who answer yes, please raise your hand. There, a whole new group to prove the utter failure of our educational system.

To every business in America, taxes are just another business expense, just like paying salaries, paying the office rent, etc. And unless the business person is remarkably stupid, he is going to add that cost to his expense column thereby making it part of the cost of any product or service you buy from him.

Wake up out their. By these very statements the democrats are showing their utter arrogance and defining you, the voter, as being to stupid for your own good.

Rmember, BUSINESS 101, if it costs you money, you add it to the price of your goods or services! If you don't you will most certainly fail.

To the Dem. who hates Obama

It would be nice if the extra taxes would end up going to help your family and friends but it won't work that way. Obama already is cosponsoring a bill called the Global Poverty Act. That bill will give $845 billion of our tax money to the U.N. to distribute to 3rd world dictators -- not the American people. His tax increases will hit small businesses trying to survive. They will either go under or have to lay off people. How will that help anyone? The main thing about Obama's "plans" is that they mean MORE government control and government run programs. This is NOT what the Republic of the United States is all about. What happened to "By the People and For the People" in our Constitution? Ask the Democrats!

Most unions are Democrat run. They tell their union workers to vote Democrat (or else) Most teachers belong to a Democrat teacher's union. The Democrats tell them what is "politically correct" to teach -- like prayer is wrong but gay couples is fine and good. They teach that women's pro-choice is right but to think like Palin and McCain is wrong! They teach that to discipline your child is wrong, but for a child to do anything they want, is wrong! Then people wonder why our country is screwed up. Go figure?
