Poll: Obama's inexperience hurts him

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- U.S. voters are concerned about likely Democrat candidate Barack Obama's experience and ability to handle the job of president, a poll indicates.

Fifty-four percent of those surveyed in the Gallup/USA Today poll released Monday expressed concern about the Illinois senator's experience to be effective. A similar number said Obama "may be too closely aligned with people who hold radical political views."

The nationwide poll, however, indicated Obama has a 6 percentage point advantage -- 50 percent to 44 percent -- over presumptive Republican nominee Sen. John McCain of Arizona.

Among registered voters, Obama leads McCain 48 percent to 42 percent, the poll indicated.

"Obama is the favorite because of the conditions that are prevailing, but he's not a heavy favorite because of his personal liabilities," Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia's Center for Politics, told USA Today.

McCain must stress Obama's inexperience, Sabato said, adding, "He has to convince people that he is too great a risk despite their desire for change."

The poll surveyed 1,625 adults June 15-19. Its margin of error is 3 percentage points.

Now we have someone like "Crone" who reference the Senator as having a dumb mouth. Didn't your parents teach you how to respect your state and local officials or you was just a problem child in the family. Who can you judge any way look what comes out of your mouth Senator Obama has more intelligence than you will ever have.

Obama inexperience

That is only half the problem! He shows that he has a dumb mouth when he urged Hillary supporters "to get over it" that she didn't get the nomination. Where is his diplomacy? And he wants to go over there in the Middle East, for talks with Iran ?! God forbid. That arrogant, ambitious, jerk won't get my vote.

experience v.s. inexperience!

I'll vote for inexperience for sure. The Bushie's were supposed to be "experienced", but so far the only experience they have shown me is their ability to lie better than anyone else. Because you repeat a lie many, many times doesn't make it the truth. They wouldn't know the truth if it slapped them in the mouth, which they really need

Obama's Inexperience

In my opinion, Obama's inexperience can't hurt us as much as the George W. Bush's experience, with no common sense. I'd glady take someone who recognizes that he might not have enough experience on certain issues, but who surrounds himself and listens to individuals who do have knowledge and experience rather than have someone experienced(?) who listens to no one, who surrounds himself with 'yes men', and has our country in such a state. Give me common sense and inexperience, but willing to listen, anytime over the past 8 years with the experienced George W. Bush.

miriamjewett is worshipping other Gods

First of all Barack Obama is not God or claiming to be God. And for anyone to say he is a false God is saying that he is God, and that is blaspheme.
