As to the way you have presented the issue above to me I see that War has already started in Zimbabwe what is needed now is to advice the United Nation Troops and other well wishers to protect the people on Zimbabwe.

What get me about the whole thing, is that the whole world just standing around letting another evil man get away with killing peoples and not doing anything about it, that what make it so bad, if only the world would do something.

Mugabe is a tragedy for African and moreso for his own people in Zimbabwe. But what can others do ? Is the Commonwealth equipped to intervene ? No of course not. Is Britain? No UK have troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and are fully deployed. UN ? Apparently not.. So who CAN save them ? USA ??? I doubt it !! African Union ? No. South Africa will not intervene against this old liberation friend.. It's people seem doomed. Bad luck Zimbabweans the world just does not care enough!!!

So what is the Commonwealth of Nations doing in this sad matter? This black Stalin needs to be held accountable for his actions, for the sake of justice And whatever happened to the United Nations??
Bongo of Gabon,Mmbeki of South Africa, like Mugabe are totally out of touch with reality. They deserve a Mussolini type fate, where their own people themselves dealt with such misdeeds; we can only hope for the speedy resolution this deserves.

I don't know what's on the South African President's mind, but I suspect money changing hands as well as some political blackmail taking place that no one will speak about.
I understand that South Africa can turn off the electricity in Zimbawa, but won't. I understand that South Africa is afraid of its own union leander who was elected ANC head and may think unions will overthrow Mmbeki, a former socialist.
