LETS BE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS; BARACK OBAMA IS TRYING TO BRING AS MANY VOTERS AS POSSIBLE TO HIS CAMP AND IF MOVING TO THE CENTER IS WHAT "HE" THINKS WILL DO IT THEN THAT'S WHAT HE MUST DO! HIS REALLY SAVING GRACE IS THE "TIDAL WAVE" OF VOTERS, DEMOCRATS, REPUBLICANS AND INDEPENDENYS WHO WILL SHOW UP AT THE POLLS COME NOVEMBER WILL SHAPE THE WAY THIS NATION IS GOING TO MOVE IN FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT FOUR OR MORE YEARS! BUT, IF THE DEMOCRATS LOSE THE ELECTION THEN THEY'RE DONE AS A POLITICAL PARTY! THE SAME THING GOES FOR THE REPUBLICANS, IF THEY CAN'T PULL OFF A WIN IN NOVEMBER THEY'RE DONE AS A POLITICAL PARTY TOO! THEN AS THE WALRUS SAYS, "THE TIME HAS COME TO SPEAK OF MANY THINGS, OF SHOES AND SHIPS AND SEALING WAX AND CABBAGES AND KINGS AND A NEW POLITICAL SYSTEM! Obama is going to try everything in the book, searching for the right combination. I said months ago that he was a shape shifter and an individual who spouted what he thought people wanted to hear. In the end, the only campaign promise I expect him to uphold is the one where he vows to do more for black people when he gets into the White House.

Moving to the other side isn't what people vote for. I hate to see Republicans 'reach across' and try to give in to the Democrat and Liberal ways.
