Michelle has intelligence, good old fashioned gumption, and class! I will be so proud to have her as first lady - kind of a cross between three ie: Hillary, Jackie and Eleanor Roosevelt.

And, she has great taste in men!

Good morning from the cranky senior! My computer was busted for two days and I couldnt get my e mail until the computer was fixed.Everyone is sleeping now since it is 4.30 in the morning but I have to respond to all of this e mail.Let me say this.Michelle Obama is a very brillant woman and she has made it on her own.Ms.Obama came from the south side of Chicago and I have visited the Windy City 5 times and believe me the south side of Chicago is a still a very tough neighborhood.May I ask why all of this resentment? It is because Ms.Obama had a 200,000.00 a year job? Well,excuse me! Ms.Obama was a Harvard law school graduate and I know that in Chicago those firms cannot give any high profile jobs away because of race.You have to be qualified and have the marks and leadership to get a job like this.But some people now are resented by this.Well,if you do not have the education-how can you get a job? These jobs do exist..but they cannot go to some small town hick out of nowhere.Obama did a wonderful job when he was in Chicago.He is loved back here.But the whole country still have a severe race problem that has been created by those money hungary cronies and submissive women who work for GW and I cannot wait until 1/20/2009.I cannot wait to see all of these rotten people out of there.Ms.Obama will be for working people like myself who are forced to retire because of health issues.I am hearing impaired because I lost my hearing in an accident here in seattle in 1995 and was disabled 2 years later.Lets hear it for Michelle! She is a brillant fantastic woman and one I can trust and I wouldnt trust Mrs.Mccain in a minute.Who wants a dyed blonde for a first lady? If I wanted a dyed blonde act,all of us will go to see Courtney Love.I will defintely vote for Obama.Go!

I believe your statement has racist undertones. When you said in your statement "In my experience, when we only help certain groups...." What experience do you have in helping certain groups and what group was it?

America is about EQUALITY. The same opportunities to advance, or to maintain, or to educate in every "group". It is to my belief, that "We" as a "People" will benefit. "In God We Trust". Thank You.

Does anyone every pay any attention to the inflection in the voices of these people when they say these things? I think Michelle Obama meant what she said about her country and I think the comment had racist undertones.

As for national service being near and dear to her, I'd be willing to wager she will only be interested in helping a certain group of people as opposed to all the people. And I believe, like a true Democrat, she will probably come back with the excuse that when one helps just this certain group, we all benefit. In my experience, when we only help certain groups, all we do is get our pockets picked to do it and it builds more and more resentment-- not only from the people forced to fork over, but from the people who receive it. No thanks.
