When I look at the record (or lack of) the candidates, I'll choose McCain.
When I look at the promises (realistic and unrealistic) I'll choose McCain.

Obama talks eloquently but is an empty suit. He never really says anything. Reportedly, he thinks we have 57 states and is unaware of what is in the Constitution or Bill of Rights. I would love to see the two candidates take a high school government and history test. If he pulls troops from Iraq, Israel will be attacked by Iran, we intervene and here comes China and Russia, and we play out Armageddon. If he increases capital gains to 28% from 15, the investors bail out and we have a stock market crash, not a recession. If he socializes medicine, we go broke and lose health care. If we don't drill Anwar and offshore, we get $5.00 fuel plus whatever extra tax he sees fit to inflict to make us seek "alternitive" sources. I am glad my life is nearly over, but pray he doesn't wreck the market, and specifically Met Life., and screw up my retirement pension.
