Dr. Sylvia Rimm
Dr. Sylvia Rimm spent years researching gifted children, as well as those considered to be underachievers.
Her studies have resulted in books, articles, and radio programs presenting new approaches to motivating children to reach their
full potential. In "Sylvia Rimm on Raising Kids," Dr. Rimm explores psychological issues preventing gifted and intelligent children
from achieving their goals. She began her work in 1973 as a licensed psychologist, and taught college level psychology courses
in the 70's and 80's, and has recently resumed teaching as a clinical professor at Case Western Reserve University.
