Revealing kids' costumes anger parents
The parents said items for sale at Party City outlets and other stores include a "High Seas Hottie" pirate costume small enough to fit 8-year-olds, a revealing sailor outfit for girls as young as 4, a "Convict Cutie" woman-in-chains costume in sizes for young girls and a "Devil Grrrl" costume for 10- to 14-year-olds featuring red fishnet stockings, the New York Post reported Monday.
"If girls get used to dressing like this, they might want to become a whore after Halloween," said Malinda Martinez, 33, a New York mother of a 6-year-old girl. "They're far too grown up for kids," she said of the costumes.
The Post said a Party City manager told a reporter who asked about the costumes to leave the store.

I agree 100%! But it's not just costumes for our children, it's their every-day clothes. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find respectable clothes for young INNOCENT girls these days? Do you know how much harder it is to maintain your child's innocence when the clothes that are being made and marketed are for pint-sized-hookers?
I want to know what kind of creepy pedophiles landed jobs in the child-fashion industry and forced these trashy clothes on our children.
Every year, I go from store to store to store trying to find decent, respectful clothes that PROPERLY cover my 6 year old's body and I don't care if I go through a tank of gas doing it...I am going to make sure my daughter is covered!
The people who make and market those clothes and "costumes" to children should be FINED for trying to push "sexy" onto CHILDREN...
