Camouflage pajamas recalled

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of camouflage pajama sets due to excessive lead in the printed messages.

About 28,000 sets of the pajamas made by Children's Place Retail Stores Inc. of Secaucus, N.J., were sold nationwide from December 2006 through January 2008. They retailed for $15-$17, CPSC said in a statement.

The recall involves short and long-sleeved blue pajama tops with red screen print that reads "Athletics 90." The pants in the sets are blue with a camouflage design.

Consumers were advised to take the pajamas from children and return them to The Children's Place Store for a full refund.

Consumers can also call The Children's Place at 877-752-2387 for information.
