One way to keep things moving in the morning is to prepare lunches the night before. You can even prepare a week's supply of sandwiches if they are placed in the freezer. The frozen sandwich ensures that it makes it to lunch time with the meat still fresh. This works well with my middle and high schoolers. It would also work well with any child capable of making his or her own sandwich, or mom/dad could do it four younger kids.
