BOGOTA (UPI) -- A cargo jet bound for Miami from Colombia crashed into
a house in Colombia, killing a farmer and a 12-year-old child on the
ground, officials said.
The jet's eight crew members were believed to have survived the crash
near the town of Madrid, The Miami Herald reported.
The Boeing 747 was carrying flowers. It was a Kalita Airlines flight
operating for Centurion Air Cargo, Marc Henderson, a spokesman for
Miami International Airport, told the Herald. It had left from
Bogota's El Dorado Airport.
