This Day In History: March 2Nd

Russell Mitchell gives us a recap of some of the major historical events that occurred on March 2nd. On this date, famous writer Theodor Geisel, or more commonly known as Dr. Seuss was born. Also, the movie King Kong premiered in New York where its most popular scene on top of the Empire State Building was shot, and Texas declared it's independence from Mexico, even though the United States did not recognize the new Republic.
