all of Thursday's Jokes

I would venture to take a wild guess that the person responsible for all of Thursday's joke posts was a very angry female- man bashing and put downs was the tread through the entire days "laughs"?? Maybe it's time to unsubscribe- I thought I'd be getting a laugh every day. What's up?

I've loved the way the "Moral Majority" (since when has less than 5 percent been a majority) jumped on Clinton's "define sex act please?" as proof that he is the world' biggest liar but they ignore Bush's support of torturing military prisoners and warrantless spying on Americans.

By the way, Clinton was just talking the way all lawyers talk and I must admit that 50+ years ago in the Midwest that we did not consider oral sex as a sex act. Of course, what did we know? We were just kids in an ultraconservative school.

If the Clinton haters should get over Clinton winning 2 terms (although I have no idea what that has to do with this so called joke)then all you Bush haters should get over him winning 2 terms as well.

And yes, I have listened to Obamas speeches and there is no way on earth I would ever vote for that man.

Freedom of Speech

This is a free country. He can say anything he wants. It might have been in poor taste it was very factually. I am a strong supporter of Sen Obamo. I think that it t5ime for a change. Sen McClain is echoing the policies of President
Bush.

Even though he spoke in poor taste I will defend his right to his own opinion. I also woulf like to say iut time for a change. Sen Obamo is a much better candidate than Sen McCain.

I read this joke as a reference to Clinton's "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" 'lie' but from the comments here it seems it relates more to current politics. Regardless, it certainly highlights what seems to be a fundamental problem America has with its 'democracy'; when it's a pre-requisite to be super-rich to even run for election to become president it always seems to boil down to a couple of options that are so obviously flawed that the best outcome anyone can expect is the *least bad* candidate winning. Tens of thousands are so disenchanted with the process that they don't even bother to vote. Thus the most influential nation on the planet comes, apparently, to end up being run by someone who struggles to speak coherently or has to be prompted by goons standing nearby. When will something be done to sort this out? CAN anything be done?

I am offended by this joke. It is in very poor taste to speak of our President this way.
I think Louis from South Africa is more correct in his evaluation. I would not vote for obama if he was the only choice!!!!!!!!!!

Well said Barbie, only time will tell these poor misguided fools that still believe anything that Bush has said. More and more of the truth is coming out all the time.

What is wrong with you people? One of the best ones yet. Have you even listened to Obama's speeches? Bush has the lowest rating of any president ever and will go down in history that way. I cannot believe some of you people will actually be voting.... oh well it is still a free country and anyone is allowed to voice their opinion.

President is not a liar

I am affended by this joke. It is in very poor taste. I would never allow one of the children to get away with this. Bush may have bad information but I think he has acted in good faith. More than I can say about Obama. He is the one that has told so many untruths. I am sick of his name.

Whoever is writing these "jokes" should be darn thankful they have freedom of speech, otherwise they would'nt get away with writing this garbage.
Worse yet is the person who thought it was fit to print it here where there are clearly a lot of people who don't appreciate this kind of "humor"!
