ZODIACAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR TODAY

ARIES (March 21-April 19): You are having trouble reconciling preconceived ideas with the way things are. Cognitive dissonance is forcing you to decide in favor of one idea over another. Prefer what fits the facts before your senses.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): A move toward self-reliance is premature. You are too self-confident when you probably don't know enough yet. Be cautious and keep connections with teachers, mentors, advisors.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): You expect automatic loyalty or belief today. You may have little talent for delivering a truly convincing argument; if so, listen to objections and go back to providing the evidence. Reign in your frustration.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): You form opinions about people too quickly. Your initial assumptions are mostly wrong; wait for more evidence to come in. Resist the tendency to feel morally or intellectually superior.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Your ideas are important, but you're prone to get into arguments. You need to relax more and try to discuss, learn and teach. You are too wrapped up with trying to prove yourself right.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): You are feeling that you have not achieved something you should have. You may feel shut out or that you have personally failed. You need to pick yourself up, analyze what went wrong, and try again.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): You are apt to jump the gun today. In your eagerness to get started and finish, you skip many essential steps. Slow down and be methodical. Be cautious when applying essential insights.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): You place a powerful emphasis on ethics, but are apt to go to an extreme. Not all wrongdoing is corruption. However, what you can't fix through reproof may need to be brought to proper authorities.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You place a lot of importance on being morally right. You're prone to try pushing people into your point of view. Avoid an intellectual arrogance that makes different interpretations automatically wrong.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You are impetuous and wrong-headed today unless you pay careful attention to what's driving you. Pay close attention to the chain of associations in your mind and intervene where they are dysfunctional.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You're apt to be suspicious about people today. Partners seem untrustworthy, mostly because of unexplained mishaps. You need to emphasize trust and take mistakes and natural problems less personally.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Your dedication to work is admirable but the extreme to which you take it is misguided. Seek to restore balance to your life and endeavor to set aside time for having fun and relaxation.
