ZODIACAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR TODAY

ARIES (March 21-April 19): You want to participate and contribute, but you have trouble positioning yourself well. You must be persistent in the face of one or several failures. Helpfulness, not giving up, will bring rewards.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You are not very sociable today, and tend to put a damper on the fun when with others. Your serious frame of mind can be useful in certain situations, when safety, sobriety and protection are important.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Repressing your feelings or imagination is destructive. Follow what gives you some measure of fun and accomplishment. You can be too concerned with being right and proper where they don't apply.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): You feel out of place among people, even as you are in situations you can't get away from. You function better where you are more isolated, can direct events and have greater control over your own decisions.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): You have great creative potential, but may easily waste it on self-indulgence. Place priority on a goal or on pleasure, but you can find greater satisfaction creating something everyone can see and admire.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): You feel inhibited today. You need to overcome shyness or lack of confidence. You're liable to let stronger personalities take over. To make an impact, you need to start small and unnoticed.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): This is good day to scale back and reassess. Be content with simplicity. You may even want to sell or give away unnecessary possessions that are just cluttering up your mental and physical space.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): You're easily discouraged today. But you stand a high chance of success if you can pull through the difficulties. The way out of problems is not retreat but more intensified engagement.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You are extremely skeptical today, probably due to a sense of betrayal or abandonment. Where trust is broken, you need time alone to heal; this is a choice, as the natural inclination is to brood.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You are having doubts about a deeply ingrained belief. A general sense of pessimism contributes to this. You must look for a philosophy that is both supported by facts and is also optimistic.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You are prone to feelings of revenge today. You feel thwarted; you should try again, instead of diverting time and energy toward those you feel have wronged you. Success is the best revenge.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Plans are liable to take a dive today. There are misunderstandings aplenty, and you must make extra effort to keep people informed and emotions calmed. Push yourself so that you don't give up.
