Stowaway black cat found underneath seat on Canadian plane

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (UPI) -- A stowaway cat was found hiding underneath a seat on a flight between Ottawa and Vancouver on Thursday morning.
Passenger Kath Thompson shared a photo of the black cat, discovered by a flight attendant on the Air Canada flight.
"Look who we found under our seats on AC189," she wrote.
Thompson told UPI the flight attendant said the incident was the first time in her 30 years of work she had to retrieve a cat from a plane.
According to CTV, the cat was traveling with a couple and another cat but escaped from its carrier and began wandering about the plane.
The flight attendant ultimately reached under the seat to grab the runaway cat, who Thompson said went without protest.
"Anyone who's ever tried to pick up a cornered cat knows they can be a little feisty but not this one," she said.
