Dog upstages baby by saying 'mama' for a bite of food

OREM, Utah (UPI) -- A Utah baby who declined coaxing from his parents to say "mama" was upstaged by the family dog appearing to utter the word.
Sam Giovanini posted a video to YouTube showing the baby and dog standing side-by-side in front of the eating mother as she repeatedly prompts the child to "say mama."
The family dog, Patch, whines in an apparent bid for some of the mother's food and eventually lets out a sound that bears a strong resemblance to "mama."
The parents said Patch was not successful in getting any of the human food, but was rewarded for his new vocal trick with a treat.
