Tip: Take Shrub Cuttings

Take shrub softwood cuttings now. Cut a 3- and 5-inch-long piece of stem one inch below the second leaf node. Remove the bottom set of leaves, dip the cut end in rooting hormone, and place in moistened potting soil.
