I wonder what would happen if someone opened the glass door. Our cat jumps up against the glass to get the raccoon. Three raccoons come up on the patio every night to get the birdseed.

that raccoon can hurt your cat--I had one get into a fight with my 70 lb dog-she won but it gave a good fight first--and then I had to shoot it because she hurt it so bad--i cried but I put it out of its misery just settle for the great pix you got okay?

If you love your cat you will keep the door shut. You might also want to consider removing the birdseed at night to discourage the racoons from setting up residence in your home. Once in they can do a lot of damage and are very difficult to remove. It doesn't take much of an opening for them to gain access to attic areas or basements, in sheds or even under buildings.
