Solution:

If you weren’t careful you could have blown it. If you picked 1.Rxc8? 1…Qxf3+ leads to a repetition of position with its partner 2…Rd1+. Correct is 1.Qxg7+ Rxg7 2.Rxc8+ Rg8 3.Rgxg8# [3.Rcxg8#]
