There’s an old chess saying that “He who takes the queen knight’s pawn sleeps in the streets.” Black has done that on b2. How do you get him to sleep in the streets?

Solution:

The game started out this way-- Loureiro-Cukier, Brazil, 1995 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 c6 4.f4 Qa5 5.Bd3 e5 6.Nf3 Bg4 7.Be3 Nbd7 8.h3 Bxf3 9.Qxf3 Qb4 10.a3 Qxb2 (see diagram) 11.Kd2 exd4 [11...Qb6 12.dxe5 wins the knight; 11...0–0–0 12.Rhb1 wins the queen] 12.Bxd4 c5 13.Bxf6 Black Resigned as after 13...Nxf6 14.Rhb1 wins the queen
