Chicken shocks shopper by jumping out of SUV

GUILDFORD, England (UPI) -- A British man's dashboard camera captured a shopper's shocked reaction to finding a chicken waiting in the back of his SUV.
Jay Fernandez's dashcam was rolling Monday as he drove with friend Mark Hart through the Ladymead shopping center parking lot in Guildford, England, and approached a man who was opening the back of his parked vehicle.
The man appears shocked when a chicken hops down from the opened rear compartment of the SUV.
"My first thought was that it was odd, why was the guy driving around with the chicken in the boot?" Fernandez told Get Surrey. Straight away I looked at the guy's face and knew he had no idea what it was doing there.
The amused man follows the chicken as it wanders off-camera and Fernandez drives away.
"I don't know what the end result was as I had cars behind me and had to move," the driver said. I couldn't tell you what the fate was for the chicken. I am sure someone must have picked it up.
